I just watched one of his vids yesterday. His loud yelling is annoying sometimes, but I suppose that's how he gets all his popularity and recognition in the YouTube community.

His fans on the other hand need to know how to chill out and listen to other people's opinion and not freak out every time someone talks bad about their idol . There's nothing to discuss and as expected just by looking at the thread title it has devolved into a shit throwing party. He's an easy going guy who discovered an audience (a young one) through Youtube and is popular. He's generated hate among older users across all forums because his behaviour can be viewed as annoying and trying hard to be entertaining for tiny minds. Often has very little to say in terms of quality commentary. Plays new and older games alike, often exposing indie gems, so they then feel the stampeding wrath of his insufferable fans.

To be honest, the people who constantly talk about how much they hate him bother me more so. He reaches out to millions of people daily and makes a living doing what he loves and has a girlfriend. I'd say he's pretty successful. (and happy, thus doesn't give a fuck what you think of him)
