How can you make a name for yourself on NewGrounds and Youtube?
Well, I guess it's not something you can really force.
Regularly posting on the forums around here will eventually make you notable as a regular user, obviously, but beyond that you will need to have something that makes you stand out from the crowd. For example, being a talented flash artist, musician or whatever.

As for YouTube, do something exceedingly stupid/amazing on camera, then upload.
