It was a great game. Lots of fun, pretty catchy concept, several modes of play and, to top it all off, based on an already-great series of animations. The only quip I had was the control. Sometimes the arm would get loved up beyond repair. You'd get the choice between shooting your foot or thinning out the bird population. Otherwise flawlessly executed. Maybe platforming woulda been cool.

Negative, there is a way to download the actual game from his site. The cursor doesn't fly outside the window all the time in that one.

I concur! It was an excellent game in its day. Sadly, my GeForce 2 MX/MX400 had problems with the explosions and rendering a lot of enemies on the screen at the same time. Either it was the graphics card or the CPU. Oh well. I'll play the game again someday. Did anyone here ever beat those challenges?

Oh. I thought they were supposed to be beatable and they would give you a cheat code. Oh well. =P They were fun to play around with, but hard as hell.

I think the new one has lives in it coz I've got the old one and you have unlimited lives, but I was at my friend's house and I was playing it and I died 3 times then it said "Game Over". I think there's also some new guns.

Another good game (sort of) like this is Beeku's Big adventure. Can't remmeber the link.

You need to download the game to get the real feel of it. Pistol whipping is fun, but smacking the gun off of someones head, picking it back back up midair, and icing them in the head is what it's all about. Style, yo. Peace in the middle east, ROFL.

I just got to flecko.net and apparently some A-hole hacked into his website a while ago and that's why it's screwed up!

BTW if u didn't know flecko.net is Krinkles' (the creator of Madness) website. But u probally already knew that!

Alpha people, the game is done, e-mail me (include your username) and I'll send you a screenshot and, when it's prepared, a distributable beta. If you happen to have the .NET framework on your computer or would be willing to download it (~20MB) in order to test for me, let me know and I'll get you a copy sooner.

Regarding the site in general, it's getting redone. It was running too slow and had poor browser compatibility before it came down, and since I'm required to develop a new CMS right now for another organization anyway I suppose I might as well reuse the code for Flecko.net. I was considering doing it in another language, but everything I tried turned out to be too slow (Python), too stupid (ColdFusion), or too expensive (ASP.NET). So, for now, I'm stuck with PHP.

The site got hacked, someone got a hold of my password and deleted everything. I still have the scripts, but the database and user images are gone. At the moment, I just do not have time to deal with this kind of stuff, so the site will be down for a couple of weeks until I can patch up some security holes.

Do not e-mail or otherwise contact me about the site. I don't have time to answer all of your individual questions, so you will have to be satisfied with whatever information I put up here.
