* - Not technically free; tuition consists of three percent of the graduate's paycheck over the course of twenty-four years. Applies only to the state's public institutions.
So, does anyone have thoughts to share on this? Do you think the proposed model will or will not work, and why? Do you think other states should adopt and/or experiment with this model? If you had the power to influence the design of this model, what would you do to make it work; or if you disapprove of the model, what would be your alternative?

3%? that's not bad. If you made $500 a week that would be $18,720. College graduates who don't take courses that end up nowhere should make closer to 50,000 a year, so it's almost double that. STILL, it's not a bad idea. as long as the state can afford to put out that kind of money to get the ball rolling.
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.
