So awhile when I bought some other game I got Baldurs Gate for free some sort of special summer sale thing and wonder now if it is really worth playing through. I've heard that it is supposed to be good but it is undeniable old and I can't deny it that I have been somewhat spoiled by newer games.
So dear fellow gamers, convince to play the game.

I just bought the enhanced edition for $5 today from Steam. Apparently Overhaul is having legal issues with the other companies so Steam is the only one that is selling right meow.
But seriously, it's an epic game, been playing it for almost a decade and it still isn't boring. It even got me into the actual D&D a little bit. Played for the first time last Sunday with a buddy.

Who cares about the graphics? It's a fun game with good story.
They really should make a new one.

Dark Alliance 2 is better if you got a friend to play with.

Colloquially yes, but every English teacher I've ever known will vehemently disagree with you.

Also, I played an hour or so of Baldur's Gate a while back and it was too archaic for me. If you're not into older cRPGs, especially ones based on the D&D model it's probably not a great place to start. I mean, I'm sure it's a classic, but I feel like it's one that more people talk about rather actually sitting down and playing.

Also, the Bard's Tale, but that doesn't have multiplayer.
