Can someone tell me what that kind of belief is called?
Sounds like you're an awesome transcendentalist.

That is incredibly ironic, considering my hatred of transcendentalist poetry and writings.

I've technically never "identified" as anything when it comes to religion.
I tend to just tell people I'm an atheist to piss em off.
Also when did y'all grow out of Christianity? Or [insert religion here]?
i sound like a fucking hick to myself saying "y'all"

This sounds familiar, but with a different site...
Anyway, that's why I don't voice any opinion on 4 Chan, because I never go there and therefore can't form a valid opinion on it.

The philosophier Kant argued that rationality does not exist objectivity. Rather it is use to shape of our own world. (I know he was a rationalist and didn't prefer subjectivity, but I believe he turned it around and argued something else platonic)
Moments like this reminds me how one's own reason is completely worthless.

I think Christianity has nice nice morals and life guidelines. But I think all the people who take to insult people and give it their own definitions and use it to profit off people ruin it.
I like how the bible has nice teachings about morals and kindness and not killing each other and stuff, but I don't believe in a god existing or Moses parting the seas or anything. Yet I don't bash it either. Even if I disagree with people's views on religion, I can be a mature person and listen to what they're telling me and respect their views hoping that they can be intelligent and do the same with mine.
There are good Christians, and bad Christians. There are good atheists, and bad atheists.
If we could pick out all the bad apples, that would be nice. But there are always going to be lots of awful apples, and we can't do much about it.

Why should I give a fuck about this video? I'm not going to change my views just because some people that agree with me are stupid. If I was like that then I wouldn't have any opinions at all.

Atheism is to neckbeard
as
Bisexuality is to emo
It seems to be a simple change in social stuff. Bronies who jack off to rage comics, type up long "GOD ISN'T REAL. PROUD ATHEIST" posts in their fedoras, eat cheetos and drink Mountain Dew kinda made it happen.
Lately, Atheists have been just as annoying as the Christian who shouts about Jesus because most of them make things up and just pull the "CHRISTIANS ARE SHOVING THEIR RELIGION IN EVERYONE'S FACE!" card.
I don't think religion is all that bad. The BAD thing is the PRIDE over one's religion. It's like a football team or Apple vs. Samsung vs. HTC vs. Nokia or even as dumb as a fuckin high school rivalry.

atheists tend to not be like this when they grow up somewhere in which being atheist isn't irregular

Always exceptions to the rule. This atheist doesn't count. He grew up in America.
^Practical reasoning with not limited sources.....Hell why don't we connect all the dots. See where this gets us.
Better yet he grew up in the south. Better still he grew up as a Jew. Another dot, he grew up around Christians. Adds to only one thing............No it doesn't!
If all of these reasons have the "tend to not be like this" solgan on it. The south tends to, but not always be bigots, or Jewish people don't always become atheists, or Chrstians don't always force down religion.... Then maybe you should find practicality with better foundation.
There is no explaination other than this man's showmanship in this one video. There are no other universal connections that anyone can be possiblity be certain about.
For peace sake, just believe what you saw, nothing more.
God! Why do people read so much into things.

Haha, what a funny question to ask!
I've always been a reverse-reverse atheist if that makes sense. I will explain it soon.
When I entered the phase of atheism somewhere in my early teens, for some reason I managed to avoid the edgy phase that some people fail to escape even in their 20s (*ahem* reddit). I always despised people who were religious atheists, acting edgy TOWARDS THEM! So instead of being the typical edgy "religion is a cult! I am a free thinker! I am enlightened by my own intelligence! EVERYONE IS A SHEEP!" guy I was the edgy guy who said "YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT YOU HAVEN'T DISCOVERED ANYTHING NEW YOU AREN'T SPECIAL STOP THINKING ALL RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ARE RETARDS RETARD STOP GENERALIZING". Those were fun times indeed! I guess you could say I've grown out of atheism now. I don't really know if there's a God. There might be. I just accept that our puny minds aren't exactly fully capable of understanding something of such level.
In fact, in this period of my life, I'm leaning towards believing there is a God. Not exactly following a firm religion, I'm just leaving the atheist phase and accepting the fact that there MIGHT actually be a God.

that's why I said 'tend not to be' instead of "all american atheists are like this and all non american atheists aren't"
