I've stopped trying, too. There's nobody out there who will have the exact same views as you, and you'll never find anyone just like you.

I've settled for finding someone with similar opinions as me with some things, and is at least open with the other things.

Although, my best friend and I are weird. Two completely different religions, while we both look at other religions in extremely different ways.. Similar views on sexuality and whatnot, but opinions on what each really is and if they matter. Blah, blah, blah.

And ya, I always feel different from everyone else, as well. I see some things going on, and I think "Ha, this should be good." Then, I see other people looking at the same thing, and see them get truly hurt or riled up about it, and it doesn't make much sense to me. It's like "am I the only one with a sense of humor?"

Ha, same here. All of it.

I'm pretty happy I found my best friend, because those reasons, too. We're so alike yet so different, and that's just pretty cool.

There are a lot of people who share some similarities with me, but no one comes anywhere near being just like me.

Few people have the same musical taste as me, few people have the same interests as me, few people even think similarly to me, there are a good number of people who share the same sexual taste as me, but they're either not hardcore enough, or take it way beyond what I do.

Even the odd find love, but I might be the exception.
