Some of us like to experiment, or go with tradition. And others make their own, without the mystery meats mixed in.

I prefer ketchup but if I don't have any I'll put whatever hot sauce I have on it (siracha, tobasco, franks red).

Mustard, because I'm not about to tarnish the deliciousness of a hot dog with something as low as ketchup. Should put onions on one someday, though. Sounds like it'd be decent.

I mean, chili isn't bad. Stupid me. I've also grown fond of melted cheese, but that's not available everywhere.

Seattle style has cream cheese on it. I've never had one, though.

I have a cousin who insists that you should never put ketchup on a hot dog. To him, it has to be ketchup on burgers and mustard on hot dogs. I teased him about it one time. I was like "hey, look what I'm doing" and he shook his head and said "that's just wrong".

If I had to pick, it would be bratwursts, man. Brats soaked in beer. Those are de best. And put pickle relish and ketchup all up in that shit.

There's actually a book that says ketchup shouldn't go on hotdogs. He's not the only one lol.

Whenever I buy a hot dog from a street vendor I just tell them to "put everything on it".
In all honesty, though, the best way to eat a hot dog is with chili and cheese.
I'm also partial to Chicago-style dogs. Maybe because I live in Chicago.

Sonic had literally half a dozen hot dogs to choose from (the restaurant, not the video game character), and I tried all of them but none of them were as good as the standard chili dog. I'm just not that big a fan of hot dog condiments.

Jalapeno's for the win! Tangy spice with a good texture.
