Newgrounds, bare with me... but I have a story to tell.
I have been collecting Animal Skeletons for a long time. I don't tell to many people about it because I fear that they will find it creepy. I have friends who let me know where the dumping sites outside hunting locations are so I go and I collect dead animals and I put them in a cage in my back yard and let the maggots/bugs eat at them. (An easy way to accelerate the process is putting them inside an anthill btw) Within only a month or so I have a clean picked skeleton. I Put it in bleach and I let it soak for a bit, And then I store the bones.
Some of the Skulls I have look very nice so I have put them on my shelf in my room because I am particularly proud of them- Most people up until now have thought it was just a few skulls and that was the extent of my little "Hobby"
The truth is, I have a very large number of Animal Bones ranging from Koyote, Deer, Boar, Alligator, Cow, Turtle, Racoon, Possum, and bones/Teeth from Sharks. I even have a beaver skull- I can go into that later, that was a weird find.
Now, to the point-
Where this REALLY gets strange is that I have taken an interest in combining the bones of several of these animals to make new animals that do not exist. I haven't actually done this yet, But I have had pipe-cleaning-wire that could tie the various bones together.
I have pondered doing it for the longest. Its something I really want to do- but for some reason it really does feel as though I shouldn't do it. It feels as though it isn't just "Art" and that some how I am playing god. I know intellectually that I am not playing god, but it somehow feels somewhat like it.
What do you think Newgrounds?
Is combining the bones of various animals a bad idea?
Is it art?
Or is it creepy Ted Bundy type shit?
I will post pics upon request.

You look nice today.
This guy brutally sodomizes me.
Cereal is pretty cool. If you're cool you'll add me on Steam. Also, Letterboxd.

probably wouldn't find it creepy if you didn't mention the process.
i'd like to see the results though.

Make new animals, and then stuff some of them and create a taxidermy of it. Maybe not the best way to describe what I'm thinking but that's as close as I can get. Basically, make it like you have undiscovered animals.

This is the kind of thing that predates a news story about some fat white hick going on a killing spree.

Dude that sounds cool as hell post pics man I wanna see! Definitely art. I do, in fact a artist named Tim Prince does this quite a lot, and he's not the first. I don't find it creepy, I've used multiple human skulls and bones as references and spent a lot of time around them, I don't know I didn't find it creepy or anything.

What you're talking about is basically making gaffs but without the skin. Lots of people have been doing this for ages.

I bet you have beautiful eye sockets. Bet they would go great with the hind bones of a wolf and the front bones of a bear.
Seriously though, its kinda artsy but when you say it out loud it will still sound messed up. But eh creativity is anything, I remember reading about a girl who used human waste (urine) to fill empty window glass. Outcome probably was beautiful but the smell begged to differ.
If I had to suggest, Try combining a Bear, shark, and a lot of bird bones. This skeleton would have the bones of a strong bear, the bones of a brutal shark, and wings fashioned from dozens of bird skeletons. GOOD LORD I FOUND MY INNER DR. FRANKENSTEIN!
