Hello -- I'm working on an animation with some friends and I'm wondering how to submit it to NG for possible sponsorship. I notice that animations that are sponsored already have the logo, etc at the beginning of their animation, so I assumed that the sponsorship thing is preemptive?

it might take some hours to a couple of days to pass "judgement" though.
as for sponsorship, its up to you to get a sponsor

What does it mean then when people say that their video is "Sponsored by Newgrounds"? Like over on Youtube, etc?

From my understanding, Josiah Brooks explained it as Newgrounds sponsors some animators' vids.
