I think that flame wars need to be given the opportunity for a resolution. People should be able to express their frustrations, but there needs to be a point of compromise. If the flame war keeps going on, like a retard banging his head into a wall, then there needs to be an intervention. If the two, or more, people involved are smart people, then hopefully, an understanding to agree to disagree can be reached.
