Really? This isn't the kind of trip Hitler would make to Africa, the kind of trip he would make would be a military invasion. But seriously, the article goes into depth why this is, it's because he's the President of the United States and they need a fuckton of security for him. This isn't really a vacation; it's a business trip. I'm not sure why he's going right now but I'm sure someone does......

You are debating the particulars. You never had a point.

I think you're all missing the point. The moment you become President of the United States, you aren't allowed to have a life. It doesn't matter that you achieved a once in a lifetime job opportunity. It doesn't matter that your hair is guaranteed to go grey, or bald, during your presidency.

The important thing is that you never again engage in any activity that could give you any sort of experience with the outside world again. You should never go on a safari, because you might see the effects of poaching on animal species. Never go golfing either, because if you relax enough, it means you're a lazy jerk.

Do you guys have any idea it what it costs just for the President to go to sleep at night? You have to pay the Secret Service to keep tabs on him, and everything around him. You need to maintain a security network, just so he can walk to the bathroom.

Of course everything he does is going to cost a lot on paper, but it is only so that he can have a small taste of being a normal person. If you subtract the cost of security, I bet that price tag falls a lot.

Except it's not, this is the kind of Dem and Obama bashing that TheKlown has become known for. I mentioned Bush simply because I don't think it's fair to scream about one president who takes a vacation and "wastes tax payer dollars" and say nothing, and not acknowledge a president who took MORE time off and thus presumably wasted MORE tax dollars. It's a very fair comparison based on his history to point out that these threads he makes are unfair and biased.

Do you realize how much the secret service spends on defending the president even when he is not in Africa? Pro tip, it is not released to the public for a reason. Their spending is not completely unjustified however, the assassination of the president could cause wide spread chaos or be used as an opportunity for a foreign country to launch a wide spread attack on the US.

there are a lot of ways you can compare Obama to Hitler, this isn't one of them.
