And I really do like the sound of a 2nd NGMT '13 ^___^ I think this whole contest is a brilliant idea, anyhow ...and in no way is this statement partially influenced by how all of Scott's amazing artwork connected together... nope..

Two other things to respond to about this:
1. I'm going to try to get different artists with each contest, though if I can't then I will most definitely ask Scott again because he's amazing. I'm doing this mainly because I want to feature as many people as possible.

2. The biggest barrier to having another NGMT is money. I plan on doing this annually rather than bi-annually because getting something like $150 is not exactly something I can do every 6 months without more support from people. ;_; That actually reminds me of an idea I had for NG in general - a contest fund that can supply small cash prizes to contests (prizes like 30, 20, and 10 dollars for first, second, and third respectively). But anyway, aside from all that... bottom line - I probably can't find someone to sponsor the contest every half-year and I just as probably won't be able to sponsor it every half-year myself. Chances are the prizes won't be this large every year either for similar reasons...

So yeah that's all I wanted to say with this post bye.

I am definitely not doing NGMT for money. I am mostly doing it cause of the awesome amounts of feedback - and because it's a good way to skill up. (Is anyone doing it for money?)

Even if you can't do NGMT biannually it would be great if you could carry the ideas of NGMT (mainly the great feedback) into other smaller contests.

Don't care. Want to offer money to people for succeeding and being so awesome. Even if it's a little something, I want to give people SOME kind of more solid reward for being victorious.

I certainly hope so. I don't want to flood the AP though, so it might be better if it were once a year. Also, the NGADM is during the summer (should be starting soon... right Step?), and I think 64 people might be allowed! (if not, only 32, but that's still a lot) If you get through the audition part of that, you'll get TONS of great feedback from good judges. :)

I would like this. My suggestion would be that the descriptions should be short (140 characters?) so that you can't write a novel about why your piece fits the theme, but you can give the general gist of your piece.

Well 140 characters sound good to me, more than enough. In fact, this sentence is 140 characters and provides us with plenty of space to explain our scope for our tracks.
