At first Echo and I voted for Track 6 but changed our vote at the last minute to Track 16 because we decided that Track 16 was longer and more elaborate. I thought that johnfn made better use of the time limit because it was harder to believe his track was made in just 3 days. However, InYourDreams had a fantastic submission.
Anyway thanks a million to the mysterious 4 people who voted for Track 8. Going to upload it to Newgrounds and then review some of the tracks from this round with properly-sized reviews!
Wow thanx step! :)... that's allways nice to hear. All the submissions were so amazing. I actually voted for yours and Echo's song! You guys are legends... I wish I could do half of the stuff you can do. I have like almost no classical music training. But I'm gonna learn! :)
It was indeed a really difficult round with all this competition. It's so much fun ^_^
I voted for @Neon-Bard because of its mellow atmosphere and its lack of clutter/its simplicity...dangit I suppose that was like the first round in a way ahahaha. But my initial listen to it just really grabbed my attention for some reason. Like I said in the review, I personally thought this was the only piece where I felt like I was seeing the biodome from the outside, and that perspective was so intriguing; it made me feel curious to find out more.
Thanks @DivoFST even though you could've gone harsher lol. In fact, I thought everyone was gonna be harsh, but my song turned out getting pretty positive feedback according to the reviews, which just puzzles me a little bit. Funny you point out the lyrics because I made the vocals super quick when Skye said something like "3 hours left" and I just went oh shit and finished it.
Now..."lost underground city"? We just dealt with a city in this biodome theme! Funny, I said in Step/Echo's review that I thought their piece would have fit an underground mantra.
But yeah I wanted something like "dark unicorn circus"!!!!
Hey guys,
I updated the website with all the songs and their respective creators, plus info for the next contest and the art! Check it out!

I was one of those people! Thanks to both of you for voting on me, and congrats on the awesome song.

Resave it again with the original link, i've shrunk it down. Your long name made a larger number of colour contrasts put your filesize over the edge. Will be fine now.

Thank you so much. I had a feeling that was the cause of it.
Also, saw the website! It looks great ! :D

Not so easy. I've shoved working on my submission for the A.i.m. contest to the back in favour of this one. Now I have to finish them both in two weeks. Plus I have a lot of other work to do. Seeing how fierce the competition is (for both competitions) making SOMETHING isn't good enough. They have to be my magnum opuses.

Same here... except I can't really participate in this one, but I've been looking at the AIM entries and my goodness, it seems like EVERYONE is doing it and making some absolutely fantastic pieces, for both of these contests!
A page and a half of messages on this round post in half a day. Guys, I...
I love you all. ;_;

No, no, no! I WILL be participating...It's just that Echo is threatening me with dragon balls and sloth related imagery!

Thank you Zip! I'm really glad you saw the song in that way, it was what I was aiming for. Mission accomplished! :)
I also wanted to compose something for a 'dark unicorn circus' theme! Wouldn't that be interesting?
I feel like I should say this.
The artwork that Scott made for this round is actually when the people are leaving the civilization during its fall, preparing to live on the surface in... something.
I'll leave you to figure out what that something is by checking out the higher resolution picture.

Destroyed? Or being built? Because theres clearly hospitable life!
Always willing to voice act. Make music in my freetime. That's what I get for not having Flash
Demo reel!!!
So the rounds are in reversed order? First the biodome has been destroyed. Then biodome is complete. After that the biodome has yet to be build.
...were these correlations in the artworks meant to connect for some strange surprise at the end of this?
Congratulations everyone! You all did fantastic jobs! I'm going to join in this round as well. : )
Seems like more is emerging the more you look at it!!!!
