Oh, I was wondering why it showed up on the Front Page all of a sudden. That game will never get old. RIP.

At first i didn't know who this guy was.
But when i found out that this young man made the first thing i ever watch or played from this website.
It might be the first game i ever played on the internet.

His game The Skullkid made me realise how interesting this website is, so thank you Chance! :)
And i thank him for letting me know how much talent there is on this website.

A man with so much talent should never had been laid to rest in such a young age :(
It's shocking to think that this stuff happens often on this site.
Its kinda scary when you think about it.

Rip Chance :(

Man I haven't played this game since I was 10 years old before I sign up to Newgrounds. I actually played this game on another website before I even knew about Newgrounds. He will be missed :(

Hell. That was the first game I played here on Newgrounds, makes me think of all the time that has passed since then. It's pretty cool that we'll all show respect when a member of the community dies. anyway, RIP Chance Banning, the guy who got me grounded for playing his skullkid game.

I seconded this, rest in peace to all of them.

You forgot about Randy Solem, which I think you should have mentioned his name in your post too, since he was also such a great animator, in sprite animation that is. (So rest in peace to him, as well.)

Skull Kid was one of the very first games I ever played on NewGrounds. In fact it might have even been the first. A tragic loss; when I saw the game on the front page it was such a nostalgia trip, but disappointing knowing the reason. Rest in peace Chance; condolences to your loved ones.

After checking out the game I found out I was wrong about the fact I didn't know the game. Now I've realized why most people here on Newgrounds are sad about the loss of Chance. I hope he's in heaven making games with God.

Especially Weise, the greatest flash author of all time. Not only that, he's also an Oscar winning actor as well and won the Olympic gold medals on curling (both men and women section, he had sex change surgery). He really have a positive impact of Newgrounds alright and will be missed.

Rest in piece, mate.
