Most Reliable Host And Domain Uk

I'm planning on creating a new website soon, but I don't know which hosting website I should go with. Preferable something with is a UK based website than American, even if they're dealing with British Pound Sterling.

I know of 1&1 and 123-reg both of which are UK based websites.

I've have heard bad review for both of these.... but if you've had any experience with these, good or bad let me know.

Also, are there any you would recommend? Not godaddy, since that's not UK based.

Eukhost is pretty good.

I've always used 123-reg for domain registration and haven't had any problems.

For hosting I use UKFast but that's a dedicated server so it's probably not suitable for your purposes, not to mention costly.

FYI; 1&1 is actually a German company (and, more to the point, I've found them to be a complete nightmare to deal with).

personally I'd go with 1&1, I use them in North America and I've never had a problem.
I also really like their email; I get spam about how fast my blog loads pretty cool, and I get like zero down time.
