Little blurry, but the light is great.

I for one think a photography club is a great idea, and it should be rejuvinated.

I love photography, but I don't have the money for a digital SLR or a new-age film SLR. I shoot on an old Pentax K-1000 (good ol' K frame), and a little canon A510 P&S. It's not the greatest camera around, but the optics are decent and it has plenty of manual setting modes, such as the ISO number, "shutter" speed, F-number, etc. Allows me to get the right light I want in a photo, instead of just being stuck with the default quality. 3.2 megapixels, so I can get some 1600X1200 shots, although I mostly just shoot in 1024X768 mode.

Here's a photo I took of a sign and gate near my school. Click here for a full sized version.

I'd like to join. My camera isn't the best if you want it without a flash. It gets a bit blurry like this. It's a photo that I took in my aquarium.

Ah the dawn of summer....

New photos on the way hopefully. Work will now be getting in the way so it'll be hard but i'm sure I can whip something up.

**Also**
As you can see I have used the photo club link on my banner which will hopefully pick this club up again. Cause again it is nice to see what other people can do with a camera.

Can't wait to see those new pic's!!

But someone is making a pretty nice emily the strange sig banner for me so...
I could put the photoclub as a text link so I could keep the MySpace up...

That sound good?

Hey, i have a photography project to do for school and i really dunno what to do for it, our sheet we recived says:

"For this project you will be using photos which you have taken yourself.... blah blah blah...

Use 1 of the following themes:

Neglect and Decay

Record an event/Tell a story

opposites"

Thanks in advanced

Ok so does it deal with those 3 things seperate or all together?

If it's all together I can help you. I need more information and I could prob do a demo shoot for you to help you out but don't use my ideas... draw from it. or something like that.

could do a rain storm
an egg then smash it because its decay.. just leave the mess in the sun for a couple days

or a plant. Get a green lively one!
Then don't water it and it'll decay and tell a story
A story of what happens if you don't water yer plant.

I'd choose neglect and decay. Go to an abandoned warehouse/park. Take pictures of empty, broken benches, rusty swings, grafitti, and dead flowers. Make sure the pictures come out in black and white.

I led a magnet under a paper and on that paper an iron marble, and because of the magnet some small iron marbles were attracted to the big marble. And i took a macro shot of it.

My photography class is awesome. Nothing like processing and developing your own film and prints. Unfortunately, it means none of my work is getting online. Someday I'll find a way to scan things perfectly.

I didn't know there was a Photography club, mind if I join?
I use an Olympus E-500 that I got a couple of months ago, great camera, very easy to use but annoying when focusing. Last saturday I went out with some friends to take photos for my surrealism project at college (a-level), best photo to come out of the shoot is this. I'm planning on taking some soon of 'The Bride', basically images of a girl in a wedding dress in strange places, trying to go for a gothic style to those ones.
