Do any of these relics exist in your town?
I have one in the local bowling alley and another in a theater. The bowling alley is closer, but I like the theater more because of their numerous Time Crisis machines. I go to the bowling alley more often, though, and I have some high scores there. Oh, and every town has a Chuck E. Cheese, but I outgrew eating shitty pizza and playing in that nightmare of a kiddy-fest when I hit 8. Besides, I swear that guy in the rat suit molests children.
Discuss your local arcades (or what's left of them).

I have never been to an actual arcade closest I've come is a Chuck E. Cheese clone and as a young child of about 9 I spent 20 dollars and nearly beat the game before I ran out of cash.. I think it Jurassic Park?
There are arcade machines in my local movie theater and in various restaurants near me, but the only true arcades I can think of is the Chuck E. Cheese near my house and Arcade Legacy.
I still haven't visited Arcade Legacy. I should really make a point to do that this summer.

Their are a lot of places that have at least one arcade game machine, and bowling alleys and movie theaters have some as well, but the only full scale arcade that I know of are in malls. Although, there seems to be a growing trend of bars having arcades in the same building, mostly for a nostalgia factor more so than anything else.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
There used to be a small arcade here a few years ago but it's closed down and the machines seem to have been sold to other businesses around town. For a while there was an arcade machine in almost every store, but they've been disappearing one by one and now there's just maybe 4 left in total. Wish I'd been able to get one.
For a while now I've been wanting to build a custom MAME arcade cabinet. Some day...

There's one by me called Barcade. They have a whole crapload of old-school arcade games and a pretty nice draught list of craft beers.
There's a Dave and Buster's not too far, either, but the arcade games there are way too expensive. Like $1.25 to play games that used to be a quarter. I usually stick to the air hockey tables, but co-op Time Crisis is hard to resist.
The Galleria in Middletown still has the arcade I used to go to when I was a kid, but all the games are different.
I missthis game.
Castle Fun Park seems to have the biggest arcade in my town.
It has arcade machines, pinball machines, and other games.
The local movie theater also has a few. And Cultus Lake Waterpark used to have an arcade back in the '90s.
I'm tempted to say that there are no arcade machines left in my town. If there are, I can't think of them. There was a time when my local cinema had some arcade machines. I can't remember how many of them there were but I definitely remember there being House of the Dead machine. My and my mate used to always play it when our movie was over but they'd always kick us out because they thought we were only playing so that we could sneak into another movie afterwards.
But yea, now I can't think of a single arcade machine in my town. Even if there were, it's unlikely I'd play them because they're so expensive now too. I was at the Trafford Centre in Manchester a while back with another NG user and I seem to recall the machines there being like £1 - £1.50 per game. It's ridiculous. I'm sure that old House of the Dead machine in the cinema was only 50p per play and even then, it still felt kinda expensive.

None of the pubs in my town have arcade machines, aside like quiz machine things, but they don't count. I think one pub had a pinball machine for a little while but I don't know if it's still there.

All that's left around here is a few restaurants/theatres with a few machines. There still is a restaurant however that has I think 6 arcade machines and that's as close as I really come to an arcade. I have many fond memories of playing in them though, especially Jurassic Park. And Crazy Taxi.
Mostly just a few places with gambling machines would remain here, there is a club which had one in it but not sure if still there since haven't been in a few years.
I personally hated playing arcades, I prefer privacy and to have things mine, I don't like touching public things like that, not clean.

I used to live in Milwaukee, which I know used to have official arcades, and not random machines in a bowling alley or whatever you want to call Chucky Cheese type locales. I believe they went out of business when I moved to the area, of which I was quite saddened. Going to be moving to Madison fairly soon, and don't know what could be in the area. Quick search brought up something called Rossi's Vintage Arcade? It's a start.
There's a lot at my local bowling alley. I need to stop by there and play Galaga some time.
Local businesses still have quite a few lying around. If I had the money I'd try to buy one.

That would be awesome.
