Well, the official reveal for the new xbox is upon us folks.
What we think we know~
Specs
64-bit D3D11.x 800MHz GPU, an 8-core x64 1.6GHz 4MB L2 CPU, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB of on-board memory, USB 3.0, HDMI-out, and an optical drive for 50GB discs.
Price
Estimated $300~$500 retail
Arrival
Estimated Nov.-Dec. of this year.
Regarding the always online rumor, some sources have claimed this to be true, while Microsoft themselves have claimed this as false. As of the time I'm creating this topic it is still unknown.
What it looks like
A simple google search. Just click images, I also attached an image.
It also seems that the Kinect will be mandatory for this system. Between this and the always online rumor I'm feeling less than stoked.

I think I might be going with the PlayStation 4 for the 8th console gen. I might get the Xbox Infinity later, but I will mainly use a PlayStation 4 and use the Xbox Infinity for console exclusives. There's just too much bullshit with the Xbox Infinity for me to handle.

I am thinking the same thing, when i read ps4 specs against xbox inf. i was really shocked.

Got to agree you with that if Microsoft's next gen is bullshit I wont be jumping the bandwagon, the only problem is that I am a diehard Halo fan and due to this I'll always end up being tied to Xbox.

The problem is that none of it is from MS. People are making up stuff right, left and centre. Everything I've heard/read I've flagged -could be bullshit-. Best thing is to wait a few hours and find out exactly what they are doing, and not listen to possibly sony fan boys.

Many gaming sites were spot on with a lot of information about the PS4. There's going to be truth to a fair number of rumours.

By the way, the "Xbox Infinity" name was never real. Someone on Reddit created a joke image on what they thought it would be called and news outlets picked it up as the real thing because they are stupid.
