What happened to the "refer out" links? Did you remove that feature?
Because I just noticed that I get a "ERROR - Pkmn2 does not have a website on record." error whenever I click on my refer out links.

I liek Tumblr cos it saves me from having to figure out how to make a proper website.

Oh I know, I know. I know too much about shows I don't even watch.
lucky I watch a fair few of them heh
The Newgrounds tumblr page, far as I can tell, is about posting updates from interesting or popular creations/artists, along with a short comment on the contents.
This is the exact same service the Frontpage provides.
It breaks the succession of horse-themed bondage pornography that usually fills my dashboard, but there's no real reason to follow the blog, itself.

Oh well...Better luck next time, eh, Newgrounds? But in all seriousness, I really do not care for Tumblr. It's hard to get followers, you end up having to kiss more ass than your getting kissed in return...The community is just AWFUL.

I visit Tumblr more than I check the home page so don't knock it because it doesn't work for you

But that's the thing...It DOESN'T EVEN WORK FOR ME. I have tried to get a decent number of followers. Know how many it took just to get seven? A month. Yeah, a fucking MONTH. Tell me again it works.

So what? I've got a few but they're mostly just people from my art course. Don't ever go anywhere expecting to get a following; people like to make their own decisions online. I'm telling you it works because I can follow artists there who I like, and so can you.
Also Tom I wanted to say I got round to using swivel for a thing at college the other day and it's one of the best bits of software I've ever used, thankyou again.

Even so, is it too much to ask for at least a few hundred followers over a year? That would be nice. I mean, I'm not asking for much, just some recognition for my hard work.

Yes it is too much to ask for it - you should go out and earn it.

Which I have tried on numerous blogs. Guess what? Still no followers.

I'm getting the strangest feeling that by saying "go out and earn it" he didn't mean "find a different site to post your work to".
Try exposing yourself to the real world. Find yourself a lot of different creative outlets. Don't expect people to flood to your work without you doing a little promoting. If you're unknown, you won't magically become known by doing nothing.
But, most importantly, don't let the number of followers influence your output. Artists and creators of different mediums don't do what they do for exposure and notoriety. They do what they do because they enjoy doing it.
Anyone doing it for the fame isn't in it for the right reasons, and probably won't go as far as they could have had they been invested in their work.
Do your work for you. Not for everyone else.

Are we ever going to get the author dropdown menu back? Like, when on a video the ability to see a list of other submissions by the same person without going to the person's page? That thing was useful. Especially since with half the movies these days you can't click any of the suggested content in the flash window.
