The technocracy is spreading fear 2013-05-16 06:27:16 Reply

I want everyone to know that I made a comment about the police getting what they deserved in the case of Christopher Dorner and Facebook asked me for my ID in order to continue posting on that page.

I didn't give it to them and I continue to post about police brutality. I also fully advocate for bad police to die slowly and painfully. Government today is a spy agency only concerned with its own protection.

They (the government supported by the big tech companies, Google, Facebook) are trying to make you afraid to even speak your mind any more. Continue to fight this with me and continue to say whatever you feel, no matter who disagrees with you.

Good, now let's work about you getting kicked off here.

Anyone so stupid as to have supported that loon doesn't deserve to be online posting conspiracy theories and other insane rants.

You wanna fight the government and the police why don't you take to the streets like the rest of the so-called 'freedom fighters'.

The vast majority of police brutality claims are wholly bogus.

They usually fall into two catergories: resisted arrests; and complete and utter crap by those with no legitimate defense.

The first ilk are the most common. A person will be beligerent to a police officer trying to arrest them and will fight extremely hard, and when the police officer do a routine takedown they'll scram till their worthless lying face turns blue about police brutality. A routine takedown is not brutality. On some very small occassions, there actually is an act of brutality, but only well after the douchebag claims it.

The other kind involve those who have no legitimate defense screaming police brutality at every little contact in order to try to get any sort of defense possible or to intimidate the police officers into letting them go.

Because of the massive amount of false claims of police brutality it is extremely difficult to take most people who crusade against it with any level of seriousness.

Facebook is not the place for posting anti establishment rhetoric. Facebook is used by the institution to monitor and in turn subjugate the public. Facebook is also frequented and scanned by all kinds of police so you really made a dumb move posing that stuff to Facebook. I don;t have Facebook account because I don't want my information mined.

Congratulations. You have a political opinion. Whoop-de-fucking-do.

I didn't give it to them and I continue to post about police brutality.

And why not? You're on a private website after you've agreed to their terms and conditions. It's within in their right to ask you for your identity.

:I also fully advocate for bad police to die slowly and painfully.

I also fully advocate for the elimination of stupid people, but that doesn't make me a good human being.

Government today is a spy agency only concerned with its own protection.

And now you lost me. The government has its own protection from the people need be in your little conspiracy world. It's called the armed forces. I'm pretty sure the Army can protect the government need be.

They (the government supported by the big tech companies, Google, Facebook) are trying to make you afraid to even speak your mind any more. Continue to fight this with me and continue to say whatever you feel, no matter who disagrees with you.

It's not big tech. It's legal stuff. Look, you are on private websites, including this one. As these are private, you technically don't have freedom of speech. For example,if Wade or Tom right now decided that you couldn't post about teacups, this, being their website, could enforce that rule. Facebook, google are all similar that way. When you sign for their serviced you also consent to a while bunch of other stuff too. this is why you read the fine print. When you go online kiss your "rights" goodbye, because you are consenting to all that happens in your computer, whether your aware of it or not.

Moral of the story: if you'e concerned about privacy, turn off your damn computer. It's quite simple like that.

It's called societal contracts my dear boy. You cannot expect the world with nothing in return. Everything has a price, including your freedom. You want to use this service called the Internet? Guess what, you gotta give up some rights in return, including privacy. After all, the computer doesn't put in your credit card for you when you buy something online, you consent to putting in your credit card information.

By the way, for someone who doesn't like the way the Internet is working you sure seem to be on it a lot. In that way, you're no better than the rest of us. If you're online someone out there can find out what your doing. If I were you I'd be more scared of that fact then anything else.

Just another misinformed soul trying to rile up people to a cause that doesn't exist, or clearly doesn't know what he/she are doing. You do know that the Internet isn't exactly a private place, do you? Billions of people go online everyday for whatever reason.

I didn't give it to them and I continue to post about police brutality. I also fully advocate for bad police to die slowly and painfully. Government today is a spy agency only concerned with its own protection.

I'm simply going to chalk this up as both sensationalism over police brutality, {Protip: about 98% of the time, PB is unprovable, and always the criminals fault.} and conspiracy theory and we'll just move on.

They (the government supported by the big tech companies, Google, Facebook) are trying to make you afraid to even speak your mind any more. Continue to fight this with me and continue to say whatever you feel, no matter who disagrees with you.

Clearly, you have no idea how the law works, nor do you realize that this is a private website, {as with many others} and they can do what they please with it. As I said earlier, don't try to rile up masses of people to a non-existent cause, especially if you don't know the facts. I don't know where you people of your ilk come up with all this, but it's getting annoying, and not in a good way.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

If you think Facebook is evil because there are safeguards which discourage publicly calling for the death of police officers while at the same time praising a man who killed innocent people then I don't know what to tell you.

Actually, it's called part of the contrsct you sign when you sign up. Nobody is forcing any of this on the users.

Why shouldn't the police monitor facebook? Is it really any different than walking the beat or driving their cuiser around town? On top of the possibility of finding crimes or evidence of a crime, facebook provides a very good avenue for the police to connect with the community and put forth information for the community

Hey, you can't corner the Dorner! On a side note, no body was ever found, so he may have actually gotten away.

I didn't give it to them and I continue to post about police brutality. I also fully advocate for bad police to die slowly and painfully. Government today is a spy agency only concerned with its own protection.

How is bad police the same thing as the government in general?

They (the government supported by the big tech companies, Google, Facebook) are trying to make you afraid to even speak your mind any more. Continue to fight this with me and continue to say whatever you feel, no matter who disagrees with you.

Yah. There's nothing wrong with that, it's their websites they can do what they want with them. It's a service you're getting when you go on those websites, if you abuse that service they have a right to deny it to you. These websites have nothing to do with the government, they're not free-speech zones you can't simply say whatever you want. If you go on some kids game and gather together a group of people to register as black avatars and line up in Swastika formation then the company which runs the game has a right to ban all of you. If you go on the Newgrounds BBS and being posting pictures of porn they have a right to ban you. If you go on Facebook and talk about how great your day was they have a right to ban you. In essence they can do whatever they want on their website because they own it.
