How is Agent Coulson back? He died.
Comic book rules, i guess.
Faked his death, clone, robot, robot or clone was the one who died. I'm guessing robot. Shield has a long and proud history of robots. But would you really watch a shield show that didn't have him?

Personally, I never understood why people went so crazy for this character. Literally no idea. He didn't even have a personality until the Avengers.
I'm wondering who that guy was who jumped out the window in the beginning is.
Luke Cage?

The way I always read that is that he was doing his job. Plus his first apperences were Iron Man movies. no one is going to shine in a room where the other person is Robert Downy jr.

Same. I had no clue why everyone was all of a sudden so attached to him when he died. It seemed horribly contrived.
Comic book death.
Nothing more meaningless, unless you're Uncle Ben, Ares or The Sentry.
Also, I can't believe Whedon chose the guy that played Gunn in Angel to play Luke Cage... there are so many better black people out there! Like the old spice guy.
I hope it's good. I'm also looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy. I just hope they don't include Rocket Raccoon. And I'm kinda thrown off about Bautista playing Drax.

Terry Crews? He'd be awesome. I'd go with Idris Elba, but he already played Heimdall in Thor. Michael Jai White would also be a good choice.

They will include Raccoon. The rumour is Jim Carrey is doing the voice.

Hey watch what you say buddy, if it wasn't for Rocket Raccoon your ass would have been long dead awhile ago.

No.
It's set after the Avengers.

I just can't see how it could possibly work in the movie. It would be like Jar Jar.
Are people going to be wondering every week why the Avengers don't come and help them out?
Like Iron Man 3?
This is awesome so awesome.
I'm not a comic reader much so had no prior knowledge of the Avengers before the Marvel movies started coming out. I simply adore them though now and when I heard about this show I may have made smiled till it hurt.

Plus I mean, look at that face. Its hard not to fall in love with Agent Coulson.
I wonder how much this will tie in with the movies.
Will the show introduce plot points that are explored in the movies?
Will the characters from the show ever appear in the movies?

Luke Cage?
It could be also Rage from the New Warriors.

They explained that at the end of Avengers: everybody went their separate way. I mean, sure, Captain America could be present, but he probably has shit to do too, that will be explained in his movie (Red skull, Bucky, Falcon, etc.). Widow and Hawkeye? I think they're in Cap's movie too. The Avengers aren't even set in stone as of yet. The only time they were really officially named was when Tony Stark was talking to Loki about it.

Lol, It's comic book logic mate.
Different laws of physics.

When Agent Hills notes that Coulson's cards were in his locker, Nick Fury says how the Avengers needed a cause to unite them. At the time you think he just means they planted the blood on the cards, but in retrospect you realize he meant they faked the entire death.

Wow, I didn't know Tom was an Avengers fan, just another reason to love and worship him.

I have a penis
The villain Graviton is going to appear in the show.
I'm looking forward to it.
I guess son of Coul was a Life Model Decoy, then... Tony Stark mentions them in Iron Man 2, and S.H.I.E.L.D. is ever so fond of using them
I don't see how he'd be able to survive sceptre being stabbed through him, otherwise. And S.H.I.E.L.D. has a history of obscuring the truth to heroes, so that could explain why they lied about son of Coul dying

I don't remember him at all, but it looks awesome!
I'm torn.
On the one hand, it's Joss. Joss can do no wrong on TV. Some of his film work may be sketchy, but his TV stuff is always gold.
On the other hand, it's Marvel's cinematic universe, which has never been more than "okay", even with Joss at the helm. Coulson is one of the stronger parts of it, though, so that's a plus.
I'll give it a go and remain hopeful, but I'm not particularly excited at the minute.

Dollhouse.
I'm gonna go stand over here now.
