Neat! I remember seeing a piece on the frontpage that really inspired me and I found it...since I don't really follow a specific artist, I just look at whatever's on the frontpage. Is that bad that I'm doing that? I'm thinking other musicians are going to have some heartfelt roots to a certain artist and will choose from them while I just howdy doo with what's generally received well.

Truthfully it's just about what you appreciate, nothing to do with how it's recieved by anyone else, but as long as you love the artwork and it inspires you for music, doesn't matter if it's frontpaged or not :) though im hoping some people choose some not as known artists lol

Thanks! I really liked the idea too, originally i made two songs inspired by art and had a lot of fun with it :) i hope it goes well for you, good luck!

I've done this concept before with one of my submissions: In re Reveris was inspired by rtil's "Listen". I'll be glad to do this again; save that I may want to consider a simpler piece.

I feel ya! Well 6 weeks is a good period of time to make a song, look at the dates the pictures were posted and you should be in luck! :)

Exactly why NO ONE should miss out on this contest. It's too easy to fib a submission. Just fucking do it and make sure to say a few things about how much you love the "source material." Even if the artist is chosen as an after thought it's still incredibly respectful to look into the work of artists other than yourself.

This is a fail proof contest.

Hey there, When I upload my 3 songs, do i still retain the copyright license? Cause I know for some music contests, once you upload the music, it is no longer yours. So when I enter, I am still the owner of the songs, right?
