I know what you mean, but I still love slushies. When I get to the bottom, I sometimes pour other stuff in and mix it up. A couple weeks ago, I had a blue slushie from Quick Check. I also happened to have been leaving chopped up strawberries with sugar sitting for a few days in the fridge and lots of juice had collected by then. So, I poured in all that juice, along with a few strawberry pieces, and some lemon juice, cane sugar, seltzer, a tiny bit of juice I had, and some silver rum. It turned out pretty well.

You have to learn how to make a slushie correctly. It is definitely an art form to be mastered. Fill it up slowly, stopping for about ten seconds every third of the way through. It will maximize the drinkability!

If the flavoring liquid is sucked up at a higher rate than ice, it will always be less concentrated at the end no matter how much you stir it.

Milo, you need to save the leftover ice from your slushies in the freezer, then put them all together and add soda once you have enough.

Either that or just eat it with a spoon instead of drinking it through a straw.
