hi. i was wondering if, for example i block list someone would the person blocklisted be able to comment on eny of my content?

I think the block list only affects the PM system, so yes, they'd still be able to comment on everything else.

No problem, and yeah, it kinda does! If you want to keep people from posting shit on your newsposts you could always manually approve the comments, though that's a bit of a work around. Back when there was no blog comment notification feature it was a bit more useful...
