There's a library a block down so it's mainly just the music part. I have tinnitus and I was just learning to listen to music and low volume. I have no money or mp3 player. If I wake up at night I'm doomed to stay up listening to the traffic.
What am I to do Newgrounds?

Do you think I'll be able to hear my music eventually?
Wear earplugs at night or soundblocking headphones.
If you get a better, heftier pair of headphones they will block external noise when you are listening to music.

You should be able to, it's about adapting, give it a month or two. If that doesn't work, get Astro a40's, they block out sound really well, and they sound amazing.
You think thats bad? Try living roughly 50 feet from train tracks with trains that constantly go through town along with living relatively close to the main road here in town that has people driving on it all day.

You know those people who you tell them your problems looking for comfort but then they start talking about theirs instead like they're so much worse?
It's pretty douchey.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.My letterboxd.

Too bad, I was going to suggest that you get a noise-cancellation headphone.

I have a neighbor who occasionally like blasting their shit music at night, It's almost been a year and a half now and I never got used to it.
I fucking love steak.

it's harder to get used to something when it's infrequent. if the neighbor did it every night, maybe. but seeing as how you aren't expecting it to happen every night, it'll still always come as a shock.

So what you're saying ron is that everyone in this thread with a sound problem should kill themselves?
I see, I see.

pretty much. if you can't adapt to a simple thing like sounds, you're pretty much freak and you should just purge yourself from this earth.
on the off chance you run into some money soon
it's worth it anyways
Isolate the walls, get isolating glass, etc.
That should help.
You will get used to it. Trust me.
The house I've been living in for the past few years is literally surrounded by bars, 4 of them, and it's on a very busy road.
You adjust to the commotion.
I apologize in advance.

Actually the nearest paved road is hundreds of kilometres away from here. It's eerily quiet and pitch black when there's no moonlight. You should spend the money on an air purifier and place your health over your listening enjoyment. Air pollution is heavy close to busy roads.

Bose noise cancelling headphones, they're pretty damn effective
