Are Prank Phone Calls Immature?

Maybe its not funny, but I find it hilarious. The recording, specially picked out to be relevant to your target. The number masking, for the surprise of mistaken identity. Listening to people respond to what they think is a real person, timed just right to keep them going. A remote server separates you from your target, so you can use the speaker phone and laugh with whoever else is listening.

Is it wrong though? Am I really doing anything so horrible? I revealed myself to one of my targeted friends, and he was quite upset. Apparently a prank phone call can send someone into several weeks of panic over the stress of not knowing who called them and how.

What are your views on prank phone calling? Do you have any? Have you used any prank phone calling services, or made your own? Have you been the "victim" of a good laugh?

I have an experience to share with you guys. Once I was in a remote place, my signal in my phone got jammed, i thought the problem would be with my service provider.
