Because the tax they will pay later on in life is worth way more than what educating them costs, its pretty obvious. And the rest of that money will go to the economy.

I've been punched in the face by tards on multiple occasions with no provocation, also been pinched by these subhuman fucks and they NEVER learn anything. Why the fuck are tax dollars being spent to send a kid in a wheelchair, blind, and incapable of even speaking to school? And there's always the surprisingly high amount who shit themselves. I've dealt with more functional retards too, and they do nothing but cause trouble IME, but I have met some exceptions. Not saying that there aren't some decent retards, but the majority I've met are a waste of space. I've just had to deal with them way too much.

Most schools have the opposite problem, due to the No Child Left Behind mentality.
I'm special ed, due to ADHD, OCD, high functioning Autism, and a gifted IQ.
Without significant challenges when I was younger, I never developed a work ethic. I could breeze through everything, while others had to do homework.
So now, even though I have a work ethic when it comes to projects, or things I find productive - doing homework is nearly impossible! I'm not saying this isn't my problem, but it could have been avoided with a proper upbringing by the educational system.
Furthermore, I've never felt like I was doing enough. The school was originally going to advance me in mathematics, which would have placed me in Calculus by my sophomore year. But for some reason, the rules waived this idea entirely - putting me two years behind where I would have been.

In my experience (been to several schools) the system caters to the lower end, and the normal end. Once you accelerate beyond that, however, the resources dwindle to virtually nothing.
Contrary to popular belief, significantly high IQs are incredibly subject to issues later on in life, due to lack of challenge in school.
The average annual income for IQs 140 and up is about the same as the average annual income for IQs 70 and below.
