The whole class laughed, including the teacher, it wouldn't make any sense, a painter doesn't make enough money to pay the expensive school the little girl goes to. After the teacher ceased the laugh in the class, she asked:
- Girl, is your father really a painter? What's his wage?
- He is a painter, teacher. His wage, I don't know, it depends on what he paints, but even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you, this is a very unpolite question to do. How would you feel, for instance, if I asked your age?
The class laughed again, but this time, due to the teacher's age, even though she says she is 30, everybody knows she is at least 45. The teacher, a bit mad, said:
- Attention!!! Keep the order!!!
Everybody then stopped laughing, nobody wanted to be grounded, isn't it? The teacher, then, continued:
- Anyway, we shall talk about your painter father later, let's go on.
And then the teacher kept asking the whole class for each one's father's jobs.
A couple months later, the whole class was making a visit to a famous art museum, and in the museum, there was an entire room dedicated to masterpieces made by a famous artist, this artist was so famous that he had one of his works sold by nothing less than one million dollars! In the room, there was a lot of paintworks, of lots of kinds: cubism, abstract and even hyper realistic, he is known for being a complete artist.
In one of the walls, there was one of his most famous paintworks, entitled 'My family', the teacher, astonished for the perfection of the painter's job, recognized the little girl hugged to the mother's leg, looked for the girl who had discussed two months ago and asked:
- This artist... Is he your father?
And the girl, innocently:
- Of course, I told you he was a painter.
