Hashtag Petition

Please sign my petition for a hashtag system to be implemented into the BBS.

here's my vision guys:

Ok. So let's say you make "#OolaphHasADickFace. If enough people start referencing that in posts then in its own separate tab in the newgrounds social thingy, labeled something like "trending", it'll show "#OolaphHasADickFace" and you click and it shows posts saying it.

Seriously, though, I'm kind of torn on hashtags. On one hand they hold the potential to Orwellianize the English language with overuse, but on the other hand they're becoming an integral part of Internet language, almost a new element of linguistics in their own right. And this deeply frustrates my inner linguist, because I don't know whether to be intrigued or paranoid.
