Seriously? You do realise that the main atheist thing believed is that there is no afterlife, thus nothing after death, that you just rot away.
Is that interesting to you? Compared to the majority of beliefs it is exceptionally bland, boring and depressing.
But it is the most realistic one.

No. I just act childish.
I got Tom to make a sig, bow down to me.
I actually had this exact same discussion with my English class about a couple weeks ago. Yeah it was a dark and gloomy topic to discuss about indeed. One of my thoughts was that your body will simply become food for maggots and your soul will transcend to another world. One far beyond anything we can even imagine.
Just chillin' like always.

What I find funny is the hole in an atheists point of view... sure, I can't argue with the grand scheme idea of there being no afterlife, or my concious surviving my bodies death.
But what I can show you, is this.
MILLIONS, of documented and un-documented cases of supernatural experiences all over the world
Meditation.
History books containing FACTS of the world and pre concious beliefs of there being no possible way of ever having something as simple as the technology of controlled lightning like in microwaves or lightbulbs back in pre B.C. era.
Lucid Dreaming.
How do these FEW ideas of the MANY, trump an atheists Idea of no afterlife?
Easy. All of these things can't be scientifically proven. at least, not in their current time. or "our" current time. And if you argue with me on this, (please do), don't be angry, or anything other than to have a willing talk of facts and information that can be cited.
I don't disagree with atheists, for anything is possible, even the negative ideas. I am merely just saying, here are some ideas and topics in the world that have no correlation to atheism. Like meditation for one, and your body having chakras and being able to self-heal, or reaching a higher ascension, and this being proven time and time again without scientific proof of how these things are real... Meditation gives us hope that the spirit is real inside of us.
P.S. Science is only able to prove with meditation that when one ascends into enlightenment, the mind literally (physically) changes and begins to alter itself.
Fascinating :).
I've always believed we just cease to exist, but I will admit there are things humans may never understand. I believe religion in general is a tool for control, but that doesn't mean nothing supernatural exists. It just means that humans truly cannot comprehend the complexity of the universe.

Well... as your personality is a collaborative perception of your body's organ systems and how they are affected by your environment, I don't believe that the body and mind are at all separate entities.

Correct
Humans are animals with primate instincts and heavily developed brain functions
It's all here in "Everything any living human has learned by studying living organisms"
I'm not all that religious, I find most of the religious stuff just plain retarded, but I've always wondered what it will be like. death that is.
I mean when you die, is it like you'd fall asleep and just feel nothing after that, sounds bullshit to me, I'd like to think that I was at least born again as a new human or animal without having any idea about my previous life, which pretty much leads to the point that if we really think about, we will go insane.
MEDIC!
Some hallucinogens told me that we are some kind of energy force wrapped up in humanly flesh, and once the body ceases to function, this energy is released back into the cosmos until it finds another home to gather in.
And from a scientific stand point, The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred
So I think my theory may have some truth to what happens to this "Spirit energy" once it leaves out of the body

You decompose. Also, if you choose to get cremation, you turn to ashes and decay.
I am god so I'll decide what's what with all you asspirates.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.

One user suggested that every time we die we continue living our life in another universe as if nothing happened.
Perhaps I did crash my dad's car head-on into a big semi truck killing myself, both my parents and my younger brother...
I just want to be with my family, friends and pets. Those I truly care about, that'd make me happy.
whenever I feel low of myself, I think that life after death would be so interesting

I always thought that it's like a dream, we go into a deep sleep and our heart rate goes extremely low, but there's a flaw to this, lack of oxygen due to being stuffed in a box or cremated. What do you guys think happens when you die? Considering most of you are atheist this should be interesting,
When you dream there are no rules or limitations like in life. Time especially. You can sleep for an hour but dreamtime could have had a week go by.
My guess is you die, your brain dumps its stuff causing you to experience a dream as the last thing before it shuts off. You have no concept of time in dreams so as your last conscious experience who's to say it doesn't subjectively go on forever?
Reincarnation makes some sense. Nature loves to recycle why not souls too? But I don't believe in it.
Heaven would be amazing but I really doubt that's real. Too good to be true. I'd love to be surrounded by my loved ones forever in super nice place with no worries or work. But I can't actually believein anyof that.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances
You decompose, thus completing the life cycle. Your atoms will scatter across the globe to turn into new material like sand, dirt, etc. Hell, your atoms might even be in other humans or in different organisms such as plants.
I am confident that when I die I will immediately become cognizant in another body, and I will have absolutely no memory or sensation of the life I just experienced.

I fucking love steak.
I think nothing happens. We die. Maybe our soul roams the Earth, maybe slips into another body before birth, maybe rejoins the global life force, maybe drifts off into another dimension.

Of course not, point being to enjoy what time you have, with the people you have, live your life to what you consider to be the fullest. Because once you're dead, it's done, you don't get another shot at it. That's the point I was trying to get across.
Life is not death, think that you should know.
And I think you of all people can enjoy happy and I affect normal life communicating. Thank you to check out my news posts
Death is loss.
If anyone dies, the souls has on heaven.
