Texas rapper Scarface, a huge influence on 2pac and many other great rappers, believes there is a conspiracy against Blacks in hip-hop. Is he right?
"I feel like we losing it," Face said in the clip. "I feel like the people that are in control of what Hip Hop does is so fucking White and so fucking Jewish and so they don't give a fuck about what the culture and the craft really is about."
Scarface paused at this point and said he wanted to clarify.
"Let me say this shit right because I want this to be as offensive as I can fuckin' make it for these old-ass punks that's running these record labels that's in the powerful positions to dictate what the Black community hears and listens to. I fucking hate that shit. That shit pisses me off," he added.
"There's no fucking way that you can tell me that it's not a conspiracy against the Blacks in Hip Hop. You put out fucking records that make us look stupid. You make us look dumb. You brainwash a generation of Hip Hoppers with this fucking crud and then when these other rappers come out, splitting it down the middle, these other rappers' shit sound like 'Wow!' Y'all look great!' 'Y'all look stupid!' ... Then mothafuckers start going over here and pretty soon, Hip Hop is White now."

Hip Hop is the same as any genre, it isn't about one thing. People need to step out of their old hip hop roots and realize that bigger things can happen with the genre now, it isn't just freestyle cyphers in the middle of the street or every Saturday night at a venue, it is a genre of music that needs to appeal to all audiences, and relate to all sorts of different audiences...

Nobody is dictating what the "black community" hears or listens to, they can choose to put in any album they want, they can choose which white hip hop artists they do and don't want to listen to. The job of those in the music industry is to make sure that they sign the right people, and that they make the right moves in order to get that said artist heard. Any black person can put in an old Mos Def album, or they can put in some bullshit Machine Gun Kelly crap, nobody is forcing anything down their throats, nothing is being dictated, in fact, there are starving artists out there OUTSIDE of the big industry that Scarface is talking about, he of all people should know this.

It's a genre of music, race should not have ever been involved in the first place. It's shitheads like Scarface who can't look past a skin colour, and he ends up being the miserable racist prick for believing in such things.

They shouldn't own a title over it anyway, it doesn't say anywhere on an official document that blacks ever claimed hip hop. It doesn't say that it is THEIR genre, they lead to the publicity and popularity of a genre of music, much like the blues, which white people now listen to and perform.
