Hello, everybody! I'm DeathRiseRobo, a novice artist and collab starter. I am here today to tell you all about the 1-Up Collab.

In case you don't know what one-upping is, let me enlighten you on my definition of it; outdoing someone else.

The goal of the 1-Up Collab is to outdo the one before you in terms of animation, with a time limit of 30 seconds per entry at the most. It's like a flash pass, but your goal is to outdo the one before you. You will get to see the other entries, but only the one before you. Then we put them together and see what we get.

RULES
NO PORN
NO SEXUAL CONTENT
NO EXCESSIVE GORE/VIOLENCE
NO THINLY-VEILED INNUENDOS

Well, it's almost been 24 hours without a response. If I don't get any within the next 24 hours, I'll scrap the collab, and you can go live your daily lives.

Do you one-up the comedy or do you one-up the animation quality? I may or may not join.

this is a great idea becuz beginning animators can make the first parts and more advanced animators can do the later ones
i will think about making an animation for this

i would be interested but need more details. like, how good of animators are you looking for? whats the story? when will we need to make something? who will start it? i would love for these questions to be answered and if you will accept an animator at my level i would love to join

Any level of animation is fine, and the story is yours to create. It's that simple.

The animation has a MAXIMUM of 30 seconds. It can be less.

im gona start my part today, i already got it scripted and im going to go ahead and do 24 fps ok?

hey, i'd like to join, if you want me. i can voice act, make music, and i could even do a little bit of animating. i'm REALLY new to flash, but i know my way around the application, so just tell me what to do and i'll [attempt to] do it!

i know enough flash to animate a semi-decent animation, so throw me in at place 6. but i have a question:

how does sound work? does everyone do their own sounds/music/voices for the thirty seconds they get? or do they give you a script and you find some voice actors. if so, i will totally voice act. i can also make some music, depending on what people want.

Yep! Either one is correct. You can use the sound from the one before you or new sound!
