Hey guys, I just started with animation, the other day I goy into it, installed Adobe Flash and spent my whole afternoon animating, or at least trying to, I made a 20 second cartoon, and I want to know your oppinion on it, please be honest and constructive, I can't stop you from saying "It sucks, kill yourself" but that ain't helping no one.

Here it is!

Thanks in advance for your time!

This actually looks pretty good. The animation is pretty smooth and it looks like you already have a good understanding of how animation works. Have you had much experience with animation outside of flash? And did you look for any flash tutorials online to work the program? You're using some techniques I wouldn't expect a newcomer to know.

I've never done anything animation related really, I did check Oney's tutorials tho, the ones he uploaded in Youtube and Demonvault, but that was it.
Thanks for the kind words!

I really like it. It's smooth, and quite funny.
I gave it a 5. :)

Just your average animator.

Still playing around with the program, just made this to try to understand frame-by-frame animation and expressions, or something, I'm still not sure what this is supposed to be.

Parapam Toop-choo Waa!

I feel dirty for looping it, but making a two second video is no fun.

It's a start. I mainly animate 3D stuffs, but the principles of animation are the same. Right now I would say that you piece is a good starting point. The arm raise, finger transformation and point is smooth. I would say that the real lacking point in this animation is interest. Aside from the arm raise there really isn't much in the way of animation.

There is no staging drawn up behind them which makes it look quite bland. I personally don't really understand the humor behind it but I can't hold that against you, that could just be my own ignorance.

Keep going, create mooooore! Keep going for all to see.

So yea, after all that, good job! Hope that didn't come off as harsh, sir.
