I have a ton of ideas for both sprite and regular flash animation. The problem is I don't have a ton of cash to throw around for the sake of my art.

Does anyone know where I can find a free (maybe earlier version) of Flash I can download for Windows XP.

Adobe don't sell old products. If you have no stores around you that sell older copies of Flash, you might have better luck finding a hard copy on an online store such as eBay. They still wont come cheap though.

You can find much cheaper programs than Flash (and better) other places if you look. You might want to check out the Toon Boom line of products. Simple to use (the less expensive ones) and should get you going. Plus much better in the long run than Flash! :)
