Monetization question 2013-04-18 18:32:24 Reply

I'm not sure whether this is the right section for this question, but I'm an animator and I think it's a question that some movie makers will know. It concerns the monetization system on the site.

I know that if you use music from the portal on a flash you're making money with, you have to tell the creator of the music. My question is, what about music from films that I might want to put in my movie, copyrighted stuff, film tracks?

This may seem like a stupid question, but one that I thought worth asking, since I read the Terms and Conditions of flash ads/monetization and whatnot, and it didn't say anything about copyrighted things - maybe because it's so obvious, I don't know.

So is it something you're allowed to do? Or something that no one would really be concerned with, or is it outright forbidden? I don't see myself making MUCH money of my flash's, anyway.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.
