Seeking Novel Critism (ba dum tish)

I'm relatively new to this writing thing, only about three years now. That's new to me, anyway. But I've written a book and I don't know if I just set back the whole profession a couple of decades or if I actually wrote something decent, so I'm looking for feedback.

The novel itself is a comedy/satire/parody novel. Its about a once popular and successful writer named Mildred Clarance who's career is on the downward slope. He gets angry at reviews of his recent novel, and as an act of revenge, he decides to write sequels to great pieces of literature, completely ruining them in the process.For example, he writes a sequel to Romeo and Juliet were the two spring back to life and take a motorcycle tour across the Mediterranean. (Stole that one from Yahtzee I must admit).

Along the way he runs into an army of hipsters who are throwing their full support behind him, a critic who used to be his friend until he went ape shit, his editor who may or may not be out to ruin his career even further for the sake of money, a publishing company who (quite sensibly) fired him for his actions, and two so called friends who are secretly stalking him.

I've got mixed feelings about it, but I can't tell if those mixed feelings are just because that's how all writers are, or if they're justified. I will say that I wrote it during NaNoWriMo, so that might have played a big factor in its quality.

Anyway, I'm more interested in a critical evaluation, not just "that was crap" or "that was good" if you don't mind. Also, I know it has its short comings, but please be gentle. I'm still a virgin.

I've never used Kobo before, so I'm not entirely sure how to read this.

I'm interested in checking it out though. How many words is it?

FYI, you can just download the ePub and transfer it to a Nook or convert it to a mobi on Calibre and transfer it to a Kindle (what I'm doing).
