Advice on a suitable sound effect 2013-04-17 19:07:50 Reply

Alright, so I'll set the scene, despite it being a relatively simple concept...

The main character is playing a video game and becomes frustrated with a certain scene. The camera cuts from a shot of the gameplay to a front view of a living room, quickly zooming in (eased in completely) to the character's now angry face.

My only issue is that without any dialogue at this part it seems quite stale and not very dramatic.

Does anyone have any advice, links or examples of a sound effect that may be suitable here?

if it's a fast zoom you might get away with the tea kettle boiling sound effect (if you don't mind using that one). there's also a hearbeat racing sound effect out there, if it's a slower zoom. or you could also record yourself breathing really heavily (or search for that if you don't have a good mic).

They're cool simple ideas. I had a sound in my head, but have no idea how to vocalise it. One of your examples would work sweet if I'm stuck
