Smart guy, but often rocks the boat for the mere purpose of rocking the boat. I only tolerate such disruption if there's a clear goal for it, not just because someone craves the attention.

It's because he's a slutty anarchist. He's been on the fringe of politics because he doesn't want to active in a system that clashes with his ideals. Although his analysis on political issues is generally spot on in my opinion.
