Hello! I'm Nempatriarch and i'm here to show you some of my work and hopefully get some critique and pointers.
I'm a freelance artist and i am currently developing my own indie game with a friend of mine, but i am having struggle with money so i am also accepting advice in this matter as well.

You've got some great images here.
However, I suggest including the image in your thread, it is a showcase thread after all, but please feel free to link out to the better resolution version in the art portal.

I'm glad you bumped this, because I completely missed this thread and it's awesome.
Critique wise I think the crotch of the robot seems a little high compared to his arms and legs. Technique wise I don't have much to remark upon.

Bump again. I'm sorry i keep doing this, but i would really like to get some feedback/critique from you guys. This has been hard for me to take since i started to upload my work to the internet, but i need it to keep improving.

Oh gosh I really like this worm. You really have a knack for details and fine things. One of my biggest cases of feedback I have to point out is some of the stuff looks a little stiff. It can be really hard to fit in details and keep a flow, I know, it's something I still have difficulty with myself. If you don't already, sometimes gesture drawing practice can help with creating movement.

I was wondering on this, if it was purposeful to have the two legs set up differently. Does it have to do with a specific function or was that just how you decided to to render it?

Thank you! You are totally right about that, i find it hard do do dynamic poses or something that looks natural. I'll take your advice about gesture drawing practice. I'm an animator as well, so i think this is something i really must get right at once.

It was sort of on purpose, since i never plan ahead this many details. I throw some basic lines and then i start rendering over the sketch until i'm happy with the result. But it has no function, other than that i like it this way. I'm still experimenting with my work method so i go back and forth a lot.

Thank you. Dont hold back if you think you have something to tell me. Any critique will be helpful, and the more people i get to do it the better since it will show what's the common errors that stand out from my work.
