So guys, what do you all think of the good old Sims series? There's much nostalgia in Sims 1 but what about Sims 2? I think the Sims 3 is a piece of crap because it takes away decent features that the Sims 2, but that's a different story. Anyway what do you guys go for, and which is better?

Looks like someone hasn't played Sims 7 yet

Sims 2 is a lot better than the first one, obviously. Sims 3 isn't that bad, it has some nice features, like being able to switch from your house to the town view and easily going somewhere else without having a loading screen all the damn time. If they made a game mixing sims 2 and a few stuff from 3, with less expansion packs and more content in the base game, it would be pretty awesome.
I never played Sims 1 until recently, just to see what it was like. Sims 2, however, I bought on release date and probably holds a lot of nostalgia.
I think I might re-install it today, actually.
The only Sims game I've ever played is Sims Bustin' Out for the GBA. Needless to say it was always one of my favorite GBA games.

The Sims games are girl games?
The Sims 1 was the first game in the series I played, and it is definitely my favorite. Ah, the nostalgia...
For gameplay: Sims 1 and Sims 2 (Xbox)
For architecture: Sims 2 (PC)
I personally don't like the whole aging aspect of Sims 2 PC - Especially when a younger person can outgrow an older person.
