I played the trial with a friend. Let's just say that they fully understood the "co-optional" aspect that was advertised...

I love how crazy and chaotic the whole game is it's a lot of fun, I look forward to playing Co-Op when I get friends... eventually.

Using Castle Crashers as a jump point, it'll be realeased for ps3 next year. and for PC in 3 years
