I mean, those melodies, chords, loops... daymn.... Dude, you deserve a giant thumb-up.
You managed to nicely glue together two of my favorite, yet pretty challenging to blend, styles: chiptune and liquid funk.

Oh woah!! I'm surprised I won first place, honestly I was hoping for at least 3rd some of the submissions were so catchy I have them downloaded. So great job everyone!

Ummm, though the top 3 are suppose to get $50 NG store credit. I don't live in the US or desire to buy anything from Newgrounds. So if you could either just donate it to NG or give it to 2nd place or do whatever with it I'm fine. I just don't want it to never go to use.

I hope you guys allow another 8bit contest so i can actually compete instead of being in the blue about it because i was going in and out of hospitals for 3 weeks, its just not fair that i couldnt compete while everyone here knows im a high profile 8bit composer.

Things happen that you cannot control, and I hardly think you can blame the organizers of this contest for you missing out. How would you expect them to know that you've been in hospital for the duration of the contest?

I'm sure I would be upset that I've missed out on a competition because of an unfortunate event that has occurred too, but frankly I think you're approaching this the wrong way.
