I don't know if this is the right place, but I hope I can post a question anyway:
I'm searching for a way to get/make/hire someone to make good retro 8-bit sound effects, which I can use for my latest animation.
Do you guys have an idea?

Hi. I'm a sound designer, and might be able to help you. I've created a huge 8-bit sound library for use mainly in games, but could well be useful to you. It's available on the Unity Asset store at the moment:
