Alright! Newgrounds' 10th Voice Acting Contest has now come to a close! Thanks to all of you who are participating. Once again, I see a lot of new names so I'm excited to listen to some gems!
As a reminder, the results will be out in 3 weeks or less. (I'll do my best to get them done ASAP). In the meantime, feel free to keep chatting in this thread, listen to other people's submissions and give your own feedback! Voice Acting is a community so let's all support each other!
If any of you have any questions or just feel like chatting, feel free to continue to PM me or say something here. Also, I won't be promising to put the detailed results of the scores on each submission this year, so if you'd like to find them out and get my thoughts on your audio, PM me and let me know if you just want me to PM it to you or put a review on your submission. Last time I said I would put reviews on all of them, but that in itself tends to take up a lot of time so that's why I'm doing it by request only. Some people tend to only care where they placed. :p
With that said, I will keep in touch and get to listening!

I think there is one other. There's almost always at lest one. I'm looking forward to being blown away by a female at some point cuz there sadly aren't that many female VA's compared to the guys.

I'd been noticing some suspiciously low ratings on the submissions, and just saw mine plummet from a 0.
My friends, I believe there is a saboteur in our midst.
Even if it won't affect our scores, it hurts :(

You're still doing WAY better in score than I am. But yeah, it does hurt whenever someone scores a work so low due to perhaps jealousy or any valid reason.

I had the same thing. Not very nice. The first score I got was a 2. Not as bad as a 0 though, but the voter didn't even leave a comment. I'm not sure if it's one of the people here who wants to win, or someone else. Could be anyone really. It happens outside of this contest too, that people get/give scores of 0 when a song is recently published. But I've got the impression it happens more often to voice acting than any other form of audio. I'm sure it wouldn't influence the outcome of the contest though. The ratings here don't mean much. People either get zero bombed or vote themselves up. It's the comments that count. And even those are often meaningless. Oh well. Nothing to do about it. But it shouldn't hinder the competition.

yeah i saw that too, my submission is at a single star right now, we've got some butthurt tryhard up in here apparently.
I'm a voice actor, and I will gladly whore myself out for credit... or pie.

Good luck to all contestants.
Hope those bad scores you're been mentioning cease, anyways, im sure judges will have a system of their own.
It's my first time so i really look forward to get a lot of feedback, so, if you don't mind, pay a visit to my submission and let me know how i'm doing, what can i do better and what should i definetely not do.

About those low scores... it sucks that someone's 0-bombing all of you. It's happened to me before, but things tend to eventually balance out. It's most likely someone who's getting upset with the influx of entries that pushes them down the list, so they bomb it to bring their's back up. I doubt it is someone taking part in this (hopefully). You can all rest assured that the portal scores have no affect on your contest score.
As for doctorrapture, sorry I missed yours! I even remember taking a quick listen so idk what happened. :/ Either way, here's the REAL real list:
