So I just got a new DVD from Amazon.com that won't play on any but 1 of my DVD players due to "Regional Code Restriction" which turned out to be some kind of secret code imprinted on the disk and in players that limited who can watch the damn thing
Why? This is the first time I ever had this problem with a DVD, but I do recall a time where I tried to record an event that I paid for from a DVR, to a 3rd party recorded that immediately shut down and malfunctioned while attempting this
This brings me back to FCC regulations that exclaim that all electronics must be "manufactured in a way that can receive signals to cause interference"
What type of shit is this ?
I never thought i would have this happen to me, but it did. Has anyone else had similar experiences with "unknown" electronical interferences ?
