My first story

First off, if IâEUTMm doing anything wrong please let me know. ItâEUTMs my first post so IâEUTMm trying my best to do things right. Also, this all happened in a dream that continued over the course of a couple nights so I may have left some things out that I forgot and if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

This morning was a crazy FridayâEU¦
âEUoeAlex! Wake up câEUTMmon youâEUTMll be late!âEU
I groaned and stuffed my head under a pillow.
âEUoeAlex! Jeez, you know what!âEU
The pillow was yanked off my head and I was slapped hard across the face.
âEUoeOW!âEU I yelled out loud, âEUoeDid you really have to go that far?!âEU
My older sister Reiko gave me an angry look, âEUoeIf you had woken up I wouldnâEUTMt have slapped you.âEU
Reiko was 4 years older than me and liked to rub it in my face whenever she got the chance. She was slightly taller than me and had a lighter shade of brown hair. Plus, she got to govern my every move while my parents were out on a business trip.
She slapped me again though not as hard, âEUoeAre you even listening to me?! IâEUTMm your older sister and what I say goes!âEU
âEUoeY-yes just get out of my room so I can change!âEU I barely managed to stammer before Reiko prepared another strike.
She dropped her hand and gave me an innocent smile, âEUoeThis never happened do you understand?âEU
âEUoeYes Reiko.âEU I sighed; just another normal Friday for me.

I changed quickly and stuffed my bag with all my school stuff. I ran through the hall and bumped into Reiko and tumbled down a long flight of stairs. I pulled myself up only to get palmed in the stomach by Reiko who had somehow gotten down the stairs faster than it took me to fall. Luckily my glasses were fine and untouched.
âEUoeYou idiot!âEU She yelled at me as I doubled over.
I completely ignored her and focused on trying to get my stuff done.
âEUoeMan your pathetic Alex! YouâEUTMre not even going to say anything back.âEU She turned and left to do something she considered important.

I managed to gather enough strength to pick myself up and look at the time.
7:27
I jumped up and stuffed my shoes on my feet.
âEUoeSorry Reiko gotta go!âEU I ran out the front door at a jog.
As I neared the bus stop, I saw the yellow bus approach and sprinted as fast as I could with a 5-ton backpack slung over my shoulders. I felt relieved when I thought I could make it but that turned to intense pain as right when I got to the doors they closed on me and I slowed down a little but not enough to prevent my face from impacting the doors. I stumbled backwards but didnâEUTMt fall, clutching my face trying not to yell in agony. The bus driver jumped out and tried his best to help me and convince me that it was purely accidental and not on purpose. I was happy that I didnâEUTMt get a bruise from the entire incident but my face stung and the cold March air really didnâEUTMt help.
Most of the day was normal until I got home.

The door was locked and I didnâEUTMt have my key with me. Reiko was home and doing something so she could leave me outside. I tried to open the gates so I could try the backdoor and there was a complex chain wrapped around the locks and big, heavy duty padlocks on the chain. My first attempt to climb the wood fence nearly resulted in a splinter. I threw my backpack over and pulled over the recycle bin near the fence. I jumped on that and tried to kick off the wall, slipped and slammed my face against the side of the house. IâEUTMm pretty sure something got knocked over but my head was ringing so I dismissed it. I finally gave up and sat down on the recycle bin and waited.

After a bit Reiko came out of the house mad,
âEUoeAlex! What are you trying to do?! Break the wall down?!âEU
I yelled back equally mad, âEUoeYou locked me out here! You caused this not me!âEU
She cooled down and thought for a little, âEUoeFine, you can come inside.âEU She sighed and walked away.
I sprinted past her and into the house, slammed the door shut and locked it. I ran out to the back real quick and grabbed my backpack. Luckily it landed on a patch of grass so I didnâEUTMt have to clean it. Reiko was pounding on the door yelling at me to let her in.

I went up to my room and played nearly an hour worth of Minecraft and snuck downstairs to see if she was still muttering anything. Halfway down the stairs I slipped and fell.
âEUoeAlex I know youâEUTMre there.âEU She no longer sounded mad, âEUoeHow about we call a truce for the rest of the day?âEU
I thought this over for a second and reluctantly agreed. I opened the door; a fist flew through the door and caught me in the neck. I fell backwards clutching my neck while Reiko stood over me.
âEUoeThat was for locking me out.âEU She turned and walked off to her room.
I went to my room and read a book underneath my abnormally tall bed. I moved an extremely heavy looking box that was actually empty to the side and crawled in. I moved it back, turned on my lamp and left reality.

I returned to reality hours later at dusk. I flicked off my lamp and crawled out; slowly beginning to stretch. I was pretty hungry so I went over to the kitchen. I was in the middle of making onigiri when Reiko came downstairs attracted by the noise.
âEUoeHey, Alex, make me onigiri please.âEU Reiko asked with the word please and a kinder tone which meant she was hungry too.
I sighed and threw some rice to reheat in the microwave. I finished making my dinner and set it off to the side while I set everything up to make ReikoâEUTMs. I had nothing to do while the rice was reheating so I reached for my plate and grasped only empty air. I looked at where I was grabbing then I looked around the kitchen to be sure. I peered into the living room only to see Reiko enjoying my dinner. She saw me and gave a wave along with an innocent smile. I sighed and threw together my onigiri and ate silently in my room. I finished and sat in deep thought when my phone rang and I jumped, startled.

All I got so far...Expect much, much more.

If you talking about the ', it is what happens when you an apostrophe. There are ways around, but the easiest way is to exclude them. People who visit the forum will understand.
