I have 2 suggestions that may add to your work:
1: Give each character their own pose to create more personality between the characters.
2: Make each character a different size. It'll cause the viewer's eyes to slow down and take in each character individually.
This is a lineart I just finished. Please let me know what I can do to improve since I don't often draw chibi characters.

yeah, i kinda updated/discarded most of those, you can see in my newer designs im trying to change that.

That's actually pretty good. The leg movements are smooth and you have the height adjust with each step properly.
