Define 'open'. Like, anybody can attend? Unabashedly gay? Free alcohol? All of the above?

If even one of those is true, I'm in. Past years have been more difficult, but this year is completely doable (provided you've made it a weekend-centric thing).

Honestly, the only thing that has stopped me from going to the US to a pico day meeting so far, is my lack of Canadian citizenship which is in the process of being approved. I really wanted to go last year, but it cost me a lot to get my paperwork done.

I really hope you don't stop doing the meet-ups since I don't see a reason why I wouldn't finaly be able to attend next year.

I seem to recall a video streaming event about 8-10 years ago, where one of the cameras was outside, getting the smoking lounge action. I've been to several events where non-smokers would hang out outside, just to have more interesting conversations....

Anyway Tom, when was the last open house Pico party? If you decide to go through with this, should I bring cake or cookies?
