My name is Raymond, or Ray for short.
I'm currently a first year art student and this is my personal sketchbook where I'll be uploading my studies in 2d, 3d, and animation--
Critiques and feedback are welcomed and preferred, please don't feel restrained no matter what your skill level! :0
Here are some vehicle studies done today.
I spent quite a bit of time getting the parts accurate and will need to be more efficient producing sketches :0
Explored some silhouettes of 'elemental' creatures and picked one to draw out!
This is the rock-like monster I chose to do :0

Ha ha, I hope to make such epic stuff in the future :P
Here are some 20 minute speedpaintings today :0 The first one I did from my second monitor, and the last one I did from imagination
looking forward to more studies and/or a finished piece soon. some soild understanding of shape and tones, colours slightly off in the quick background work, but there is no need to get 100% spot on, its your canvas, its your rules
Will be uploading more when school's done here :D Gotta train my eye to recognize that color!
Here are some studies of Mickey Mouse! Just trodding slowly through Preston Blair
Mickey's quite an interesting character :P
Ha ha great to see some new faces here :D
Heres a little swamp creature I designed that serves coffee -- the life essence of an artist :]
And here's the first of a series of visual library studies!
I really like your big stone colossus, although it maynot be in the style you went with, i thnk it needs a darker out line or something added to just define it more. Oh and your mickey mouse studies are bloody damn bloody good!
.
Heh heh thanks V-I! :D I'm planning on redoing that piece actually, I'll definitely push it darker xD
A redesign of the Dracula tale, this is Vlad :D
Here's some visual library studies done with a custom brush I created -- initially to loosen up, but suffice to say, I failed.

really nice sketchs one thing that always helps me out is drawing perspective lines before starting the drawing, there are many videos out there on how to add perspective lines.
keep it up really enjoy your sketches
That's another thing I'll have to check out! I can never figure out how best to fit everything in perspective :P
More sketches for today :D
This one's of a female warrior I designed today xD
Concept Car I did, those visual libraries are definitely helping :D
And these are some visual library studies I did today at school
